Case study B is still within the realms of the basic guidlines. Based on the information I have gathered it seems that the horse's health is suffering to poor diet, overfeeding of supplements, and lack of proper hoof care. The horse is showing signs of heavy breathing, being overweight, and thrush. It is important to address these issues promptly to ensure the horse's well-being is restored.

Here we can see lots of cracks and faint stress rings in the hoof wall, stress rings can occur in the sub-clinical stage and therefore it is imperative to act promptly, particularly if recent stress rings are visible near the coronary band. If you notice cracks in your horse's hooves, it could be a sign of weak hoof walls. This can be caused by a variety of factors, including poor nutrition, lack of exercise, lack of hoofcare or unsuitable boarding conditions. It's important to work with us to develop a hoof care plan that addresses these issues and promotes healthy hoof growth.
